Megan has been a Physician Assistant in the field of Family Medicine since 2014. She loves working in Family Medicine and enjoys the ability to treat all ages. She tries to incorporate alternative/complementary therapy and medicine in her treatment plans. She loves working with patients on their depression/anxiety, nutrition, weight loss, preventative health, diabetes management, and all women’s health. She thinks educating patients is extremely important to achieving their best health. Megan understands that every patient is different and tries to tailor their treatment to their particular situation accordingly. She believes in whole-person health and the importance of both the mind and body in a person's overall health. Her goal is to work with each patient to help manage current diseases and prevent new diseases as best as possible.
Megan graduated from Western Michigan University in 2014 with her Physician Assistant Masters of Science in Medicine degree and also received a Certificate in Complementary Medicine and Wellness at Oakland University, which she really enjoys incorporating into her practices. She loves what she does and is very proud to be a Physician Assistant. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, she worked at Troy Beaumont Hospital which she began while in high school until she started her Physician Assistant program. While at Troy Beaumont Hospital, she worked as a Phlebotomist while also holding the position of Team Lead. During that time, she also was a volunteer as a Nurse Assistant at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac. She is a big family person and loves spending time with her husband and two children. She also loves to travel and is an avid Detroit Red Wings fan.
